A group of former law enforcement officials will on March 12 arrive Washington DC to press for an expanded probe of Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, and their alleged roles in the 1970 bombing murder of a San Francisco policeman. Ayers and Dohrn, now university professors, were members of a communist terrorist gang called the Weather Underground during the 1960s and 1970s whose aim was to support communist regimes and anti-American movements around the world and destroy the United States. The group received terrorist training in Communist Cuba and was advised by Soviet and Cuban intelligence agents.
A former FBI informant, a retired San Francisco policeman, a veteran congressional investigator, and an internationally-renowned researcher into extremist movements will be appearing at the National Press Club to urge federal authorities to get to the bottom of what really happened on Feb. 16, 1970, when a bomb filled with heavy metal staples exploded and ripped through the body of San Francisco Police Sergeant Brian V. McDonnell at the Park Station police headquarters. McDonnell was in the hospital for two days, bleeding from his wounds, before he finally died.
The bombing was listed by the FBI as the work of the Weather Underground, but Ayers and Dohrn, two of its top members, never claimed credit for the blast. They have insisted over the years that their bombs never hurt or killed anyone, except their own members who were killed while making a bomb in a New York apartment. However, the consistent testimony of former FBI informant Larry Grathwohl, who participated in meetings with Ayers, has been that Ayers told him that Dohrn planted the bomb.
What’s more, the bomb that killed three of their own members when it exploded was an anti-personnel device intended for an Army dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Mark Rudd, another member of the Weather Underground, reveals in a new book that he was in favor of planting the bomb, saying that he wanted “this country to have a taste of what it had been dishing out daily in Southeast Asia…” What the U.S. had been trying to do was prevent a communist takeover of South Vietnam.
Bill Ayers is linked with President Obama who admits Ayers supported his early political career in Illinois. Obama strenuously denies a current of continuing connection to Ayers.
There is no statute of limitation on murder and the March 12 event will receive media attention punctuated by Obama being in the White House just down the street.
Weatherman, known colloquially as the Weathermen and later the Weather Underground Organization (abbreviated WUO), was an American radical left organization founded in 1969 by leaders and members who split from the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) (or claimed to be the actual SDS).
The group is notable for a campaign from 1969 through the middle 1970s of bombings, riots, and a jailbreak. The “Days of Rage,” the group’s first public demonstration on October 8, 1969, was a riot in Chicago coordinated with the trial of the Chicago Seven. In 1970 the group issued a “Declaration of a State of War” against the United States government, under the name “Weather Underground Organization” (WUO). The bombing attacks were mostly against government buildings, along with several banks. Most were preceded by communiqués that provided evacuation warnings, along with statements regarding the particular matter which motivated the attack. Bombing included the United States Capitol on March 1, 1971; The Pentagon on May 19, 1972, and January 29, 1975 bombing of the United States Department of State Building.
Ayers is notorius for stating of the violence nd bombings that he wished they had done more. In 1969 he said 1970s: “I am a radical, Leftist, small ‘c’ communist.”

freaking awesome!! what the hell took you guys soooooo long? i have been bloggoing and contacting every agency possible about reopening all the 20 odd robberies and bombingsetc that the group took over 30 yeasr to no avail. all that needs to be from now on is put pressure on dudes like holden and others who have the necessary power to bring Bernutine Dorhn and Bill Ayers and all the others who are still alaive and participated in MURDERs, incluiding the murder of my cousin in a botched robbery in Inwwod NY on June 2nd 1981 in which my cousin was murdered in cold blood. Bernutine Dorhn subsequently went to jail for 7 montsh for refusing to tesitfy as to what she knew about the robbery even though the Feds knew she worked at the now defunct Broadway Baby Check Cashing Store In Manhattan in which she provided the Fake Ids so that she and Bill Ayers and Kathy Boudin could obtain NYS Drivers License so the Eather Underground could go to the Van rental company and rent the Vans whcih they then drove to Bank Robberies at numerous banks in the NY Metro AREA this is around the same time that Presidunce Obama arrived at Columbia University and joined the SDS an offshoot splinter group of the Weather Underground, Jume 1981, in which there is lttle known about his activities while the Weather Underground was robbing Brinks Armored Cars and killing guards and Cops. My cousin was a Brinks guard and his partner permanently disabled another coworker at Brinks who had his arm shot off by Dorhn and her gang during another robbery in the bronx in they netted 200000 dollrs, subsequently died at the WTC 20 years later at Marsh and Mcclennan doing his job. Kathy Boudin actually got out of jail for her role as getaway driver. she looked my cousin cooly in the eye and acted all inncoent and that she wasnt about to commit her grisly crime and thats when my cousin let his guard down which cost him his life. why doesnt Bill Ayers and Obama and Bernutine Dorhn Apologize to our family and the family of the cops, plural for all the misery these bastards have caused???? why doesnt obama force his pals to make a public apology for all the MURDERS they caused? another NJ State Trooper was shot down in a shoot out bewteen Ayers pal and the troopers and the trooper and Ayers buddy were both killed and Ayers names his child after the fallen comrade/criminal friend of his??
why not after the NJ State Trooper? wasnt the trooper just trying to protect America?
